Who is your favorite current New York Jet?

  1. Would love to see Hill shut people up too. Another guy who has knocks against him that are straight up comical. The way people talk you'd think he doesn't have a single NFL reception & didn't have an ounce of production on this level.

C'mon really ... 2nd round pick, his peers are 10x better then him at this stage. He hasn't shown progression.

We would all like to see Stephen Hill become a good player (hell even average). If Quincy Enunwa shows more on the field then Hill, then Hill is gone.

Stephen Hill, yet another "project player" that certain people will defend until he is released, and then those people will relent and say he sucked. It's predictable as hell.

But really . . . Ivory and Powell.

    Gotta respect Folk as well.

Snacks Harrison because of his nickname.

Congrats on Mo being #42 in 2013!

Ivory is the funnest to watch, but I'm not certain I have a favorite...

  8. But that's just it. 2nd round pick at a position that typically takes 3 years for the light to go on.This wasn't a 1st round pick. It was clear as day the very second he got drafted that he was gonna take some time. It's not his fault the Jets had nothing else at WR forcing him into starting duty WAY before he was ready. He also hasn't been healthy..hard to play at your best when your knees are always swelling up.

If you wanna get on him for being a "project player"..fine.Most guys are projects out of college..especially at WR..but I suppose that's a valid gripe considering the Jets Anemia on offense. But projects do often work out.And you can't deny the kid's talent. Why not allow for some growing pains especially when factoring in the health issues?

Although minimal he DID make strides from year 1 to year 2. He was active in more games, had more receptions & increased his yards per reception.Dark siders will poo-poo this sentiment..but progress is progress.

I'm not suggesting the guy is a sure thing & he could very well end up a bust. But geez..let it play out alittle bit.Last time I checked this guy was still 6'4 & fast as hell. And he HAS displayed the ability to make game changing plays in both games & practice. In my opinion there's just as much of an argument to be made that he breaks out this coming year given ample time to develop, better health, better QB play(hopefully), & a better surrounding skill cast;as there is that he busts b/c he hasn't yet fully developed & acouple other WRs from his class have performed better.

Your not gonna be anybodies favorite when you have one catch for two yards in a whole half of a season.

Chris Johnson. I can't remember the last time we had such a dynamic player in our backfield with hands. And of course, Wilkerson

Lol the guy hasn't even put on a Green and White uniform. If that knee doesn't heal up we are fucked.

My favorite current new York jet is Antonio Allen. Back In 2012 when I was still in college at the powerhouse Monmouth University I was addicted to NFL networks coverage of the draft. When I should have been studying dumb shit like marketing and finance I was watching the senior bowl, workouts etc... While watching the senior bowl I saw Allen and instantly felt he could develop into a decent safety. I felt he had the length, tackling ability, and range but still needed help in coverage and in the mental part of the game because he played the spur position at south Carolina, which is like a linebacker position I believe.

Any whooo..I told a few friends that I wanted the jets to draft this guy late and my wish came true when we got him. It's been nice to watch him develop and he still as a ways to go if he wants make a name for himself but he doesn't lack the want to or the physical tools, I believe it's just about putting it together mentally . And he will get all the opportunities to show if he can do it this year.
