exactly why i voted for chad pennington...look at his stats in the wins, and look at it in the losses...when he played well last year, we won..when he played bad, we lost (except vs indy)
In the sense of this question, I think I would have to go with Mangold as far as building a team upon. Rhodes, IMO, is our most physically gifted player and the one that I love to watch the most, but Mangold would be keystone of an offense. I guess it all depends on whether you're going to constrain us to the current FO's philosophies or just any new franchise with the chooser's choice of schemes.
Rhodes and Mangold our the only real candidates. People voting for Chad are living in a dream world. Whether by injury or being replaced, I don't even see him as our starter by week 17.
I think we need to start a new thread: Pick one player from every team in the NFL to fill out a starting lineup plus subs. 32 teams 11 starters on offense 11 starters on defense 4 Special teams players (1P, 1K, 1KR, 1PR) 3 subs on offense (probably OL, WR, and RB) 3 subs on defense (probably DL, LB, DB) What do you think?
