You will laugh at me but when it comes to social justice, an ideal Islamic state is closer to socialism. So by nature, Islamic scholars can be considered leftist in Western norms. But I am not the right person to provide a detailed view on that. Briefly, Islam calls for 2.5% tax on spare wealth for poor. Islam says the more you distance yourself from personal gains the closer you will be to the God. Islam says if you give money to the poor it is as if you are giving a loan to God and God is true to his debts. Again, I am really not the right person to get into left and right discussion on Islam. Now that's an excellent comeback but I still hate you but love you at the same time

I saw a replay of Syracuse vs. bc on tv last night. it made me want to come on here and tell stokes just how bad Syracuse sucks at everything. especially since they sold out and went to the acc. I may go to that other site that junc hangs at and remind him that unc sucks moose balls.
I gotta ask, Brook. When I was in the desert, I shared barracks with a lot of guys whose primary job was escorting workers (who were mainly Muslim) around the base to do menial work. The guys they were escorting were mainly from Turkey, Pakistan and Jordan. I heard a lot of stories about how these guys had to be closely monitored because they would run off and start playing grab-ass with each other. One guy told a story about how he lost sight of his two workers and ran around an area for about 20mins looking for them, and found them in a dumpster, one guy was giving the other guy head. I've heard this saying about Muslim men in some cultures for years - men are for recreation, women are for procreation. Can you enlighten me about what you know?
I sure will. This isn't something I have seen a lot in Turkey. Don't know much about Pakistan but what you say is pretty accurate based on my observations in Riyad(Saudi Arabia) and Aleppo(Syria). I didn't see this in Iran and Egypt at all. But Saudi Arabia was something else. Especially rich Sauida love to play with young boys. I can't even explain. One of my customers in Saudi Arabia told me he has to leave early to meet a friend at the airport who was coming from England and that he had to take him to his hotel. A person who knew my customer told me he was bringing his boyfriend from England just for fun. Another day I was invited to the palace of a rich Saudi guy. There was a boy servant and this boy was also his lover. Not surprisingly, I was asked if I was into boys and if I did they could arrange something. Again this gay stuff isn't common in Turkey, Iran, Egypt etc but pretty common in Saudi and Arab Emirates. I think this has to do with 2 things. Neither Turkey nor Iran not Egypt are sexually oppressive. Boys have access to girls at schools. Iran especially is 10 times progressive than Saudi. But same thing not possible in Saudi. Women can't even drive in Saudi. Not sure if I answered you properly.
You did a good enough job, it's something that always suck with me from my time in the desert. I can't personally vouch for the country of origin of those contractors, was just told about it, and for all I know they could have been local Saudi workers. Thanks, Brook.
