The only uniform combo I don't like is the green on green. I'm also not fond of the Titans throwbacks. If they have to do throwbacks, I'd rather late 70's, early 80's Jets uniforms.
It was due to the heat. That's the only reason. They'll be in green tops the next home game; best uniform in sports IMHO
I'd like to see those again too. I know they're forever associated with lean years for the Jets, but I can't help but look back on them fondly.
They are wearing white at early season home games, they'll be back to green for the next one which will be the first time we wear green this year in game #5 vs. Minny on 10/11.

I've always preferred the all-white, road uniforms. So, I don't mind at all. Having said that, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with making a fashion statement and everything to do with being cooler in the sun.
As much as I love our classic look, I would also like it if the Jets had an alternate uni that was more modern looking and had a Jet on the helmet.
Can't stand the Titans uniform. Wish they would burn them all. Really can't understand why people buy them.
best uniforms, in no particular order: Jets (especially in all-white), Ravens, Browns (no logo on helmet is sweeeeet), Cowboys (blue tops), Bucs, Cardinals (all-white). worst: Bengals (abomination), Panthers, Dolphins, 49ers, Vikings, Rams
Me too. Although even in late September, it's not too sunny from 4:15 on. It makes more sense in early season 1pm start home games, imo, and of course on the Monday night game the week before, it makes no sense. Having said that, I don't mind the whites, but the Jet color is, after all, GREEN.
I have to say that i think the browns uni is the worst in the league. I mean come on man!!! orange and brown! damn thats ugly as hell and not even a decent logo to balance it out a little. Just imagine their fanwear, its all ugly. After the Jets my fave uni's are: Vikings, Steelers, Cowboys (blue old school with star on shoulder) Broncos & Titans. Worst: Browns, Bills, Indy (its just boring), Detriot & Seahawks
Agree on the Bills uni's. I think they are THE worst in the league. I do like the Colts though - especially the white on white....classic look. Seahawks killed their uniforms with that fluorescent green they added a few years back. The Jim Zorn/Steve Largent era uni's were kinda cool.
Jets are my favorite, love the helmet logo. Green jersey and white pants look great. I really like the Detroit Lions uniform.....I like the updated Lion and always liked the color. I also like the Steelers, Packers and Seahawks (logo only) don't like the uni.
FWIW they have said they won't be worn in the 2010 season. I hope they're gone for good. Leave it in 2009
