I think we should keep Baker, Keller, and Pociask, with Dearth as LS. They'll probably stick with Franks for whatever reason, so of the other 3, if they lose one, I think it should be Pociask.

You don't need to cut from 4 Tightends at all, and 5 is livable, especially if one of them is your longsnapper and all of them can contribute on special teams. Tightend is one of those swingy positions that lets you bulk yourself up a bit on the field no matter what the situation.

So unless Franks can't play special teams or something I see no reason to cut him.

The Jets are utilizing TEs for multi-purpose roles.

Franks and Baker are your run-of-the-mill Tight Ends who split time blocking and going out for situational receiving reps.

Keller is a wide receiver in most senses of the word, his blocking isn't what you want from a TE but he's an amazing receiver so far. Think Witten and Clark.

Pociask is an H-back, he motions in between the FB and TE positions and fulfills multiple roles. Shottenheimer loves H-backs, we have been trying out numerous guys the past couple of years to fit that role and I guess they settled on JP for the moment.

Tanny confirms that Dearth will make the team.
