My guess is he ends up in Tampa...The one thing I haven't heard talked about is I highly doubt Denver wants to trade Cutler within the division or even the conference. If you add the conference to the discussion that eliminates the Jets, browns, jacksonville and a couple others. Like landing spots are Tampa, Detroit & Chicago...and I believe Tampa wins the race...only way Detroit wins if they package the 2 number 1's they have but Detroit has enough holes that I can't see a rational thinking GM pulling that trigger. Peace! The Mezz
If the Jets were offered Vince Young for Erik Ainge, I'd want their first round pick as well. That's how much Vince Young sucks.
I think he'll end up a Lion or a Bear. The Lions have a lot to offer, he'll have C. Johnson to throw to there, and they'll have enough picks left to build up their o-line.. I could see that happening.
One name that keeps popping up is Cleveland. I know a lot of Denver fans would like to get Brady Quinn. I can't see a reason for Cleveland to get involved. The one thing they don't need is a QB.
What did he win? What has he proved? Statistically speaking hes thrown for alot of yards. How about 18INTs. And do you think the JETS are going to throw 45 times a game? Im not arguing that I dont want him on the JETS im arguing at what expense?
What did any QB who played for the Jets win in their first three years? What did Clemens and Ratliff win? Tell me how many HOF NFL QB's won anything in their first three years.
I'm pretty sure that Denver is going to need a qb in this deal. The only other choices on their roster are Chris Simms and Darrell Hackney. Simms isn't a real option and I don't know anything about Hackney, but I'm sure Denver will want a viable option at qb at least for this season and possibly next season and a #1 draft pick to draft a qb in this class or the 10' class.
Less attempts means less INT's. He threw the ball over 600 times last year. Drew Brees was the only other QB to do that and he threw 17 INT's. You have to go back to 2002 to find QB's throwing that much without that many INT's.
The excuses on why not to get Cutler get more ridiculous by the minute..next I'm waiting to hear somebody say we don't want him because he will only win 8 superbowls in his career and we want to keep Clemens because he will win 10.
Actually, the wouldn't be ridiculous at all, if in fact both statements were true. in which case, I'd keep Clemens if that was the case because I want to see this team win often. However, I do understand where you were driving at, only you didn't really word it well with that example.
Probably not..neither will come true but when I see people say he hasn't proved anything yet it just makes you laugh. The same people will tell you why we need to stick with Clemens or Ratliff instead.
