Question for everyone: If Rhodes was a 1st round pick would the "this is just his first season doing it" argument be considered legit by many?

Kerry Rhodes is just as good as any safety in the NFL. He made sooo many huge plays for the Jets this year that didnt show up on the box score or recap but had game changing momentum. I think in another year he will be no doubt the best safety in league and everyone else will agree
