Potentially disastrous!

There are reasons why Favre wasn't welcome in GB anymore! He held the team hostage for three years and made a media circus out of their hopes to win a super bowl because he couldn't get enough attention. I used to have the utmost respect for him......I thought he was a man's man among spoiled boys......now I see he is one of them.

If he struggles and then retires, at the end of the year, the Jets will forever be linked to the downfall of the great Brett Favre...........big risk!

2. Drafting Namath
3. Signing Parcells
4. Trading for Farve

 

Getting rid of Chad has to be in anybody's top ten.

 

It's just a trade. There is no reason why this should be anywhere near the top of the list of great moments in Jets history.

You're right on Esiason, although I put it above acquiring him not below. The Jets have now had two hall of fame QB's on the roster and none of them was named Boomer.
