Funny thing, they did.. Ch.4 did a story on how stores were racking up because of the win. There was even tourists buyiung Gang Green jerseys! On a side note, if anyone saw that story Darlene Rodriguez was wearing a green Satin dress and black boots. She looked HOT!! Especially her rack. I couldn't stop watching!

Well I did just sign up here, but I'm not exactly a bandwagon fan. I wore my Kerry Rhodes jersey to losses against the Bills and Falcons this year, and froze my ass off in the Swamps (with a keg in the parking lot) to watch us manhandle the Bengals. Hey, the more the merrier. We're an underdog team anyway.
Would you rather have the Giants in the playoffs and all their bandwagon fans break out the Giant stiuff with the price tag still attached. We own the town for another week, enjoy it.
A buddy of mine just got out of the 'joint'. While inside, EVERYONE was a giants fan so he decided to buck the trend and become a jets fan, just to piss off the brothers. he picked the jets because i was the only person to come visit him and i always wore my jets hat. he's been out about 2 months now and has become the most rabid jet fan i know...he acutally calls me to ask questions about this player or that player. he want me to watch the game with him but he's not allowed to be around boooze, so.....
Smelly as it may seem, I still have on my Sanchez jersey and fleece underneath, and if I can will wear it all week, until someone complains that it . I have no problem with bandwagon jumpers, if they join for the long haul. Its these ass-clowns that disappear as soon as the team gets bad that piss me off.
They may be jumping on the bandwagon, but they're not buying PSL-Club seats! Or maybe they are.... nah. They can't be. ; )
I was at a buddy's wedding on Saturday that started at 5:00. Fortunately for me and some of my friends there was a TV in the bar area. The night started out with three guys at the bar watching the game. Several people came up to us and made comments about the Jets have no chance and that we were wasting our time watching. A few hours later it was those same people that came back to the bar, yelling and high-fiving us. While I'm glad people are finally showing some love for out beloved team there is no way they can feel as good about the success we've been experiencing.
I became a fan in 1996, at the age of 12, because of Ray Mickens (#24...). It is impossible for me to wear my hat from then, although i have it. Although I have other caps, I liked the black hat rex ryan wore on the sidline so i bought it. If i am going to be labled a band wagon fan because i am wearing a new rex cap then that sucks.
I use a Jets notebook and if I have one on me which I usually do, a Jets pencil in class. And my keychain has a Jets mini cleat on it with the old logo. ...who?
