losing to the Giants hurts more than anything. Screw how D`brick played and the rest of the team. A loss is a loss and this one hurt. Pretty much ended the Jets season of 2007. Well, not pretty much, but certainly ended it. I`d much rather have our season end to a loss to the Lions or anyone else other than these arseholes!

i have maintained all along that brick so far is not validating his #4 selection...

however, he is genuine 1st round talent and quite likely top ten and today he showed it.

actually guys like taylor and umeniyora should be relatively easier for brick cause they are more of a finesse type edge rusher. its the bull guys that are coming straight to him that will trouble him

    Very good in pass protection.

But they tried running wide several times at least, and the tackles were unable to seal of the corner.

However, the vagiants were able to do it, and they had too much success against the Jets doing what the Jets were not able to do.

He's had a great year so far. It's good to see others finally starting to see that.

He hasn't had a great year by any means. No one on the OL is having a great year or we could run the ball once in awhile. He is doing a good job on pass blocking though.

That has to do with the middle of the line. The primary responsibilty of the LT is to pass block which he has done a great job doing.

The line as a whole has sucked this year. But Fergueson has done his job just fine.

He still can't run block, but everyone that bitched after New ENgland and Baltimore can shut up.

Let's also remember that those people don't have a damn clue how an O-line works, so their opinions on the case don't matter anyways.

  9. He's really coming into his own. He made alot of strides in the offseason and is well on his way to being a preimier pass protector.

3 weeks in a row now, he's played a very good pass rusher, and for 3 weeks he has held up almost flawlessly.

As are your posts. If there was a real QB there would be a freaking run game. My god you are terminal!

back on topic: the Giants had no pass rush the line was great. However when the QB you are playing against can not throw the ball more than 5 yards on a Ballistic missile trajectory what the hell does good protection matter?

We weren't a threat to score any points before. It wasn't even a question. Here, Cotch or Coles could make some big plays, TJ or Leon could break one, or Chad is still good enough to string a few completions together.

Brick can pass-protect as well as any offensive lineman in this league. He's gonna be a keeper.
