Oct 1990 Houston Astrodome -- we were 8.5 dogs and not expected to win dont remeber the final score but we sacked Warren Moon in the endzone causing a fumble which we recovered sealing the victory
That's right, he recovered it. Maybe that other walking encyclopedia guy knows who caused the fumble.
I became a Jet fan December, 1982, joined the Navy in '84, got out after the '88 season, and finally saw them at the stadium during the 1989 season. They played the Falcons and won.
I always went to the jet games in miami every year growing up, but my first jet home game was last year against tampa when vinny came back and they got their first win.
i have only ever seen live on tv) jets vs NO 2005, jets pats, late 2005, jets pats 2006 o my fod i need to do something about this. I have seen quite a few of davids torrents but thats it
Don't know if I'm the other encyclopedia  but I'm pretty sure Darrell Davis sacked Moon in the EZ and recovered the fumble himself..it was a bang bang play, the ball wasn't rolling around he just fell on it for a gift TD. Davis actually played pretty well that year, (I believe he was a 12th round pick in 1990) but didn't stick around very long.....
Haha, you or me. Davis had gone to TCU, so that was a big homecoming game for him at Houston, I think he had some family there. Yes, he didn't stay long, I'm not sure why. We were building a young D line at the time with Lageman, Byrd and Marvin Washington, I guess he didn't fit in somehow. I remember thinking that win might give us some good vibes going in there in the playoffs the following year, but we came up short.
I was at that one. Maybe Deion Sanders' worst game as a pro. He was a rookie and Al Toon abused him all day.
I loved that game, we bounced back from the infamous Blair Thomas fumble game at Chicago the previous Monday Night. Chris Burkett had a big blocked punt early for a TD. That game ultimately set us up for the tiebreaker and playoff berth when we won at Miami in the final game.
