What's the most you would trade for Dwight Freeney?

Freeney is worth it to us if the Colts give us #1 overall as well. For 20 million we might as well get williams.

Freeny's cap hit is "nearly $20 million". That's more than it would take to get Williams and you wouldn't have to trade anything to get Williams.

With Super Mario available in free agency why waste your breath on Freeney? Go get Mario Williams

  4. Even with the relief that Sanchez's contract served, I still don't think the Jets have the cap room to make a major push for Super mario's services. He may get in excess of 20 mill a year with desperate teams like Tampa sitting at the salary floor.

I can't believe you just used IncarceratedBob as a source.

All he does is spread fake rumors and get us all annoyed. Freeney should only come if he is willing to really lower his cap # and I mean a lot.

They are set with Bowers and Clayborne. They aren't really looking for a pass rusher. Well, I don't think they are. Are they?

  7. Bowers is more of a part time player given his medical issues.

Tampa is young & solid all across their roster but are severely lacking play makers on defense. That said they should not hesitate to upgrade anywhere they can. They have a ton of cap space and the fact that they play a 4-3 will appeal to Mr. Williams.

I was thinking they would be looking for some OL help more. They have a decent one, but it could definitely be improved with someone like Nicks.

doesnt fit the scheme...wouldnt be able to move to OLB and would be devoured in the 3-4.

Too much $$ for a situational 4-3 pass rusher

God no. 32 years old. They turn most DE's at that age into glue, not give them £20mn.
