Well our one prospect, Marcus Henry, was released and I'm not sure if he cleared waivers.

One other funny point relative to the first post. Early in the game, one of the announcers made reference to Brad Smith as a guy who was "really proving himself as a WR" thus far this season. Isn't Smith without a catch and barely on the field as a WR thus far?

no catches and a missed opportunity on the onside kick.

Chansi Stuckey has taken over as the #3 WR, and Stuckey is in one less year of playing than Smith, could say his rookie season this year due to the IR in his actual rookie season.

Smith is a ST guy now.

Yep. Only reason he's still on the roster is that he's a pretty good special teamer. 2008 version of Chris Hayes.

I would trade Brad Smith, Justin Miller, and a 5th to whoever wants to give us a respectable safety opposite Rhodes. That position just flat out sucks for us...

Trading for a LB that can put some preasure on the QB is a must.

I think the Jets should trade for Peyton Manning, Frank Gore, Braylon Edwards, Jason Witten, Patrick Willis, Reggie Nelson, and Chris Leak... we have enough draft picks for that right? Lulz.

The problem with that Idea is once these players are jets then get traded and come back to the jets they never produce the same way and end up being a waste... I felt we should of gotten tank johnson when he was available FA he was a great pick up for dallas and he plays with an attitude.

I think what we really need to do is whoever makes the decision to get players via trade, draft, free agency should be fired. Tired of the bogus picks made and the talent we give away and compensation we get in return!

I said this in another post the Jets should look at Ted Washinton. Hes old but hes a free agent played the 3-4 and is 375 pounds.

problem with your ideas: the salary cap.

it would be different if you could, like basketball and hockey , trade a guy and his contract without taking a cap hit.

Gimme a break. Stop with the stats! Watch the game anyone? My ass could've had 4.4 yards a carry with the holes he's been getting. And any rb in the league would've done better.

We were all satisfied when Curtis Martin was rushing at 4.0 a carry in his entire career. And now we have a supposively better OL and Jones is rushing for 4.4 yards a carry. But we are not happy. Or you are not happy. What the $%^# is wrong with all you Jones hater??? He rushed for almost 1200 yards behind a shitty OL and now that he's running better behind a better OL, we gonna complain why he's not rushing for 6 yards a carry. Sure enough, the holes are bigger, but Jones is also producing almost an extra yard a carry this yr is'nt he?.....pathetic.

I watch all the Jets games. Not sure what you watch on Sundays but it definately aint the Jets games.
