where would we have been playing then? he tried to get a NYC Stadium and it didn't work. The Giants needed us and we needed the Giants.

You are correct. Even if it is "hard to imagine" for me that the Jets would move out of NYC, it is certainly conceivable. The NFL wants a team in LA very badly, so until it gets one, anything could happen. Expansion seems unlikely, so a franchise move is the simple answer. There has been talk of San Diego possibly moving to LA, but I can't see how that helps a whole lot. You just never know.

This was the reason why I held on to my tickets for so long. I really wanted this to happen. Too bad for NYC. They really screwed that up. It would have been the biggest sports mecca in the world imo. The plans for the entire riverfront would`ve attracted millions upon millions all year long. I certainly would`ve purchased 2 PSLs regardless of cost to own a piece of that stadium. And those PSLs would`ve been true PSLs too. All rights going to the owner of them first. You cannot have true PSLs when 2 teams share. It`s a total scam this Metlife fiasco is.

I would have paid 2x my PSLs and I would have had NO problem trekking in from NJ for that.

That's the stadium NYC deserved, not the old air conditioning unit in a parking lot we got.

That was a beautiful looking Stadium, I would have paid anything as far as PSLs. I wish we got it, instead we got a tin can.

If evidence came to light proving The Jets are really an Al Qaeda front, I'd really have to start questioning my loyalties...

i dont owe the jets any fucking thing. i dont know what would make me not care anymore, it hasnt happened yet. but i assure you its possible. if i were a knicks fan i would have thrown in the towel a number of years ago. as a mets fan i am close. but i just wont follow them as closely. i think to really turn your back on a team you have to start rooting for another team in the same sport.

are people really getting their panties in a bunch because of vick?

The Jets' name is never circulated as being one of the teams that would likely more to LA. I think Carolina, St. Louis, Oakland, Jacksonville, and San Diego's teams are much more likely to move than the Jets.

I can't disagree, but I learned long ago that anything is possible. I'm astounded every week of the season that Jacksonville has an NFL team. I think they could move and nobody within a 300 mile radius of Jacksonville would notice.

The Jets can't move to LA unless at the same time another team moves to the meadowlands. Don't forget Woody owns half of the stadium and the 800M nut that comes with it. He can't just pick up and go without selling it and Mara would certainly not want to buy it.

If we had kept Sanchez and made him the starter.

Would have been great either on the Westside, the old Yonkers Raceway site, Coney Island or even Rockaway. the NIMBY crowd backed by Dolan and Sheldon Silver won out over Woody. Why Woody didn't want Yonkers or any other site is beyond comprehension. Instead, we get to share a big gray bland box with giant TV's at the corners. Yeehaa..

MSG had allot more influence in the resistance to this, I'm sure they gave a ton of money To Bloomberg for that scumbag to squash the idea.

No way. Bloomberg was a huge supporter for the WSS. HUGE! He wanted it just as much as any Jets fan did. Probably more even. I`ll tell you right now who was the main force behind the WSS NOT happening. It was the Giants organization. There was no fucking way in hell the Giants were gonna let the Jets do that. Just ask the Dolans, Sheldon and more than likely some other douchebags in NYC politics where their seats are at Metlife. Just ask them. The Giants were definitely the main force behind this. No way would the Giants EVER be outshined by the Jets in their "Giants Country". Did the Dolans and Silver have some say? Yes, ofcourse. BUT, Bloomberg really wanted the WSS and it was looking pretty damned good for a bit there until the Giants turned around and said they would build their own stadium. THAT RIGHT THERE was the stake in the heart of all plans. NJ did NOT want the Jets to leave and they backed the Giants with their new stadium plans even though the Devils and Metrostars were currently building stadiums as well as other projects that were going on at the time in NJ. If only Woody would have played his cards correctly and told the Giants NO and told NJ they would continue to lease the old stadium, this Metlife piece of junk never would have happened. There were just too many projects going on at that time(EnCap, Xanadu, Metrostars, Devils and other things I can`t recall at this moment). NJ simply would have told the Giants no, not at this time. There is nothing wrong with the old stadium and until the Jets move out, no Metlife.

Not even sure why they made this craphole stadium. Another solution, if it was all about suites/clubs, was to simply move everyone up from the mezzanine and use that entire mezz level as suites/clubs. They could have easily put a dome/retractable on the old place as well. I had awesome seats in the old stadium. First row upper deck end zone. All they really needed to do was to add another 12 row section above the upper deck, put a roof on it and just move everyone up 12 rows starting from the mezzanine. Would everyone be happy with that? Probably not, BUT, the enclosed stadium would have changed most, if not all of the fans minds about moving up 12 rows. Instead, they built this stupid piece of junk that has no walls, no roof, no heat and no air conditioning.
