What would Patrick Willis play in the 3-4?

    Yeah. Hobson did OK rushing the passer, but he's a better run-stopper. I'd like a 2nd/3rd pick on speed rusher for passing downs.

    I'd much more on board with the thinking that we grab a starting quality player at OLB who is skilled at rushing the passer very early on, and move Hobson inside. Like JetfaninPA said, he's much better at stopping the run, and maybe having him next to Vilma rather than Barton will help JV start to pick up his game in this 3-4.

    As for Willis, he just doesn't fit with what the Jets are trying to put together. He's versatile, yes, but I think we already have a similar player in Vilma, the Jets need a complimenting rush LB to even the Defense out.
