    Eff Buffalo.

I could fantasize about the Jets making it that far again but I don't give a rat's behind about Buffalo making it. LOL

The AFCE is sure to be much more competitive. Jets and Bills have young QBs who could well develop into ten year starters. I would not entirely discount the Dolphins either. IMO Flores (and Vrabel) are the only good branches of the BB tree. NE I expect will field a competitive, but far from dominant team. The AFCE is pretty much wide open IMO.
With respect to Allen, he's got a ways to go. His physical skills are other worldly, but he doesn't handle the blitz well at all, can't identify and hit his hot reads, can have a terrible deep ball and is reminiscent at times of JP Losman in his inability to execute the short passing game. Having said that he could well develop into a very good player at the all important position. We don't know to what extent his deficiencies are due to the transition from his college game that his coaches are trying to accomplish. After a first year where he looked pretty much the same guy he was in college, the Bills began the process of converting him into less of a runner and more of a disciplined conventional pocket passer with the ability to run. His long ball was better in college than it was last year but this might well be because of the emphasis placed on improving his short to intermediate throws. Overall I think he showed improvement last year in all aspects of the passing game, including his long ball, as the season progressed. With Diggs and a likely talented RB in the upcoming draft to complement Singletary the Bills could be pretty good on offence to go with an already solid and improving D. All eyes are now on Allen.
Darnold too was and remains a blue chip prospect. Many of his problems will resolve with experience and improving his ball security. He should develop into a very good QB.
