I will remember all of the listed choices but what I will remember most is his all around consistency. He is probably the best all around back of all time because he did everything so well, was the most durable, and had no weakness.
The first choice and other. The other would be he like never fumbled and i remeber the season cant rember which that he played all season with sprained ankles and got over 1000 yds it was amazing.
i believe that was a home game....maybe not...but it really makes no difference that was a memorable game for cmart... ill definitly remember him by all of the above ...however i picked the humble person off the field because hes such a class act....
There is a load of stuff to remember. The one I like the best is the guy practically never fumbled . Before last year, he only fumbled 19 times in his whole career and never fumbled inside the 20. I can't count what happened last year. He was surrounded by ineptitude and poor coaching.
I did not realize that stat about his fumbles. When you say he never fumbled inside the 20, do u mean both the jets 20 and the opponents 20, or just in the red zone?
Curtis Martin was and still is the consumate professional. His will and attitude personify what all Pro-Athletes SHOULD aspire to. In the land of the T.O's and Ocho Cinquo we should all hope that more professionals like Curtis enter the NFL....if not it's a long decline. I will remember him most in two ways...one negative and one positive (because we can't have the good without the evil and no one is perfect).....I will never forget the "Snow" run in Pittsburgh and I will never forget the "fumble" in Denver in the playoffs...BTW Champ/BIHW, we would have won the Super Bowl that year....... Peace All.... The Mezz
I'll remember Curtis Martin as all of them except best Jet ever because the best Jet ever is Joe Namath in my opinion.
That was 2002. And there was that Chiefs game (Chad's first start) where he took the carry and faked out the saftey 1-on-1, then waltzed into the endzone.
