This is the exact kind of bullshit the media would bring up as an issue. Don't look for trouble where there is none, or are we that brainwashed that we just have to come up with the same topics the press brings up? This is why the losing will continue until the fan base becomes more knowledgeable about whom they should really blame for their over 40 year woes. If the fucking press was so damn right we would have won multiple championships by now, but we haven't because for the most part we don't know our elbow from our assholes. Shit starts at the top. I don't know why some people buy franchises and others do not. I don't know what Woody's motivations are, but if it's not about winning football games then no player coach or GM is going to make a difference until we understand what Woody wants and does he have ideas on making that happen.

Toxicity levels vary on the win/loss ratio at the time I think.

Are you really from Neptune, NJ or Neptune, the planet? Maybe you don't really understand the common usage of "toxic" in reference to a sports team? What have the guys you listed done to make you characterize them that way?

Finally! I just read this thread from start to finish wondering what basis, if any, there was for calling any of our players "toxic." I thought maybe I had missed something along the way, but apparently I haven't. This thread is the most useless, baseless thread I've read in a long time!

Yes, maybe many of the players we've acquired over the past several years are passed their prime, less effective players. That said, nobody has gone out of their way to kill any of their teammates, this franchise or anybody else for that matter. If anything, despite the tumultuous past couple of years, everyone has done an amazing job of "towing the company line" and NOT throwing any of their teammates under the bus. If you want to argue whether certain players are getting paid more then their worth, go ahead, that would be hard to argue! But to randomly label players as toxic without any evidence is simply ridiculous and irresponsible.

Geno. He's supposed to be the team leader. Most of the time he has the demenour of a classic rock DJ.
