Losing 6 games in the first 10, while losing the starting NT, the best offensive threat, a starting CB and the best WR on the team for significant chunks of that time is what put the Jets at 9-7. They are 7-1 over the last 8 games, which I think is more relevant to the argument at hand than that they were 4-6 at one point.

They're 7-1 since they got back the starting corner and best WR and found answers at NT and RB.

Silly as it may seem, given all the media about the Jet's weakness at QB, Mark Sanchez threw the go-ahead TD's in both the playoff games - after which point the Jets were never tied in either of them. Yes, he's not a big passer at this point and rightfully so, but I seem to remember Trent Dilfer making a Super Bowl run on the strength of his defense, running game AND a few timely passes.

Put another way: you guys are just like the Chargers with shorter receivers.

And a far superior quarterback. And we are proven, because we have won a SB.

And you have lost conference title games and divisional round games that you had no business losing and you've done that SINCE you won the Super Bowl.

    guys he's right...

I think the Jets should just forfeit.....

the Colts have a superior QB and have won a Superbowl recently....

    we should just quit...

The Colts have probably lost 1 playoff game that they had no business losing.

Would that be 41-0 to the Jets in 2002?

Nah, we shouldn't have even been in that game. We made the playoffs because of a very weak schedule that year.

I think if Manning becomes overeager and starts to take the whole game into his hands, then the Colts will have trouble. In most cases, letting Peyton do his thing works, but I don't think it will work that well against the Jets pass D. If I were the Colts, I would run a little bit more and throw some draw plays in there. I'm 100% certain Rex has made adjustments from last time, you can bet Clark and Garcon will be covered better.

30-40% chance, we have to be realistic, even if we didn't make it, I would be very dissapointed but think we can defintley close the deal next year

How long have you been a Colts fan, 3 or 4 years?

I have cried bloody tears and had the biggest highs of my life with this team for 26 years.

I love this team so much that my youngest son's name is Colt.

I tell you what you can do - You can go pound salt.

Actually I have been a fan my entire life and began going to games in 1998 and got season tickets the next year and had them since. You claim to have been a fan for 26 years but obviously you never actually paid attention to the game.

hmm. You have been a fan for 12 years (mostly good years) and you're really going to challenge my intelligence? Call me a tool? Question my loyalty?

Number 18 was the quarterback when I started watching this team play, but Manning wasn?t on his jersey. The name Pagel was.

You obviously are a spoiled Colts fan and have no manners or respect for anyone who has a different opinion than you. I hope they ban you from this board, because you are an embarrassment to all Colts fans.

Dude, Freebo's awesome. He's quite possibly one of the most classy outside team fans on this board. He's very insightful and knows alot without being a total homer. He's got my respect.

Good. Then add me to your ignore list and we won't have to ever cross paths again.

Care to elaborate on that? Other than you being a hot head I am not sure what I have said to piss you off so much. I don?t seem to have issues with anyone else, but you sure do. Sooner or later you might figure out what your real problem is.
