    Spin- Taking Back Sunday

Louder Now is, in my opinion, easily the best of their 3 full length albums. I highly recommend acquiring it. Now if Thursday's is this good, I'll be set for like two months.

Wow, you really think that Louder Now is the best? I've only listened to it once, so I really shouldn't pass judgment, but for me, it did not seem to even come close to Tell All Your Friends. I think they've really missed John Nolan. I guess a lot of it has to do with personal preference too.
I'm really amped for the new Brand New album, which hopefully will be coming out sometime this year. Although I'm not sure I'm liking the direction that they have been going. Deja Entendu was good, but I really miss the Your Favorite Weapon sound.

I was pleasantly surprised by Amorphis' new album, Eclipse. I was a big fan of thiers back in the day and I hated Tuonela and the direction they decided to go. They even brought back some death metal style vocals in Eclipse which was nice to hear.

I can listen to Amorphis at any stage in their career, but only because I had a really hot girlfriend that was into Amorphis, and it brings back interesting memories. Eclipse is definitely a good listen when I'm in the right mood.

I'm a big fan of seeing progression in bands, just getting an overall mature sound. It's the reason that while I usually like a bands initial release, their second one always seems to be just a big better. Don't know if it's because they understand more the options they have creatively, or just growing as a band, it's just usually the case for me. I loved what they did with Louder now, I'm enamored the depth of the CD. Not one song on the CD I can say I don't enjoy.

FINNTROLL! The first time I ever heard the term "polka metal" I wanted to knock out the guy that said it, but they are an awesome and freakishly cool band. I have that album and now you have forced me to go digging for it, damn you.

Dude polka metal is where its at. I heard them a little while ago and have been attracted to them ever since. Its just such an original and refreshing sound unlike anything Ive ever heard, which might be the reason I find them so fun to listen to. Even my roommate, who absolutely DESPISES metal, loves these guys. Det Iskalla Trollblod is probably my favorite song by them

Have you checked out Therion yet? Although they are different (not that polka stuff), many of the same elements are present, with the same air of experimentation. The Sirius B/Lemuria double CD is excellent.

Indeed I have. They're..."different". Not really my cup of tea, I think its the operatic theme that turns me off. Not to say I dont appreciate them, but I just cant get into them. Im guessing youre familiar with the band Nightwish then??

Tupac should be alive. After listening to his song Changes, it makes me appreciate what Hip Hop music is supposed to be. Not the pathetic crap we hear now. This song might be one of the catchiest ones I've heard. I can't get that rhythm out of my head.
