http://www.2dopeboyz.com/2013/08/12/big-sean-control-hof-f-kendrick-lamar-jay-electronica/ Kendrick Lamar decided to tell everyone he set the bar and try to get to his level. I have this song on repeat. Really like Jay Electronicas verse too. Big Sean's is good, just not as great as the other 2 Responses so far: Joell Ortiz (member of slaughterhouse) http://www.inflexwetrust.com/2013/0...tiz-outta-control-response-to-kendrick-lamar/ B.O.B (hip hop/pop/rap): https://soundcloud.com/bobatl (How 2 Rap) Fred the Godson (no clue who this is) http://djsemtex.com/blog/2013/08/14/fred-the-godson-say-my-name-kendrick-lamar-response-audio/ Phil Jackson http://www.latimes.com/sports/laker...-lamar-20130813,0,4390878.story#axzz2btpGD1g1 Lot's of artists also had thoughts on Twitter about this especially since Kendrick said he's the King of NY by saying he's Biggie and he's King of NY now. So yeah, I'm all for the artists trying to one up each other because of this.
Was going to post a video but my post count isn't high enough. Was listening to Fugazi - Steady Diet of Nothing
great fucking album....... very underrated. currently: Jawbreaker, Bivouac..... is it wrong to have a complex about listening to fugazi while you're drinkin'?
Went to see Kamelot / Delain / Eklipse at Stage 48 in NYC last night... one of the best shows I've ever been to. After the show my friend and I got invited to go backstage through a guy we knew and we got to hang out with Delain for a bit. They are probably one of the nicest and funniest bands I've ever met. What a night. :metal::metal::metal:

Got one ticket for the Allman Brothers Beacon run. It's bitter sweet that this sounds like the last one for the group. I'm listening to the above posted video, because its awesome.
I just finally discovered the song "Glory and Gore" by Lorde. I know she's only 17, so how wise can she really be, right? But her lyrics are definitely intriguing. I have a Masters in Poetry, and even with that kind of background, this song is still a bit of a doozy to figure out. I have my thoughts, but if anyone else knows this song and has some input regarding the lyrical content, then please, speak up!
