hey matt, since you're away on aim if you want real metal (and not every time i die) then get Hammer Smashed Face by Cannibal Corpse, my fave song yes ~ now you guys may ask why I despise Every Time I Die... well they were #1 on metal countdown...a non-metal band #1 on a metal countdown :rofl: alright.... :correction, almost every one of those bands were fake metal so i really can't complain too much...
Cannibal Corpse sucks. Chris Barnes is the worst, he did a duet with Ice Cube or however, fuck him. It's all bout Slayer and real New York Hardcore, not the rap bullshit. I mean Full Blown Chaos, Agnostc Front, Cro Mags, Murphys Law, early Warzone, Hatebreed and Judge.
Are those bands still around? I haven't heard of any new hardcore in a while other than the 'metalcore' bands of late like Bleeding Through and As i Lay Dying.
to me it's about having a low deeep voice that makes it good...the higher the voice in a metal band, the worse it is... you can't just say cannibal corpse sucks and have no backup to it... as for six feet under....the duet was actually pretty good....and it had the good beat in the song to go along with it...i just dont want that kinda thing in too many songs..keep it low and deep like i said i'll check out your bands, thanks for tellin me about em
I was never into Cannibal Corpse. I am into the original NYHC though. I'm a Agnostic Front and Warzone with Ray fan. I like Hatebreed and Cro Mags also. I do like some of the newer stuff like 25 ta Life etc,but not much of it. I can't stand the Fuse bands like As I lay Dying etc.
i really don't like fuse bands either..i give em chances all the time but they just seem annoying high voice + metal = ewww!
Not a big fan of hardcore. Some metalcore is okay, but its not my favorite either Judas Priest- Grinder
