Sims is not 6'4. KJF, why or how are Mendenhall and McKlevin not top 10 talents? Just asking because I've not even close to figuring out this draft yet. Personally, I like Mendenhall more than I like McFadden, though thats more a personal choice than a talent thing. Mendenhall will be just as versatile within an NFL offense, and offers a better, more durable build to a position that absolutely needs it. McKlevin/RDC are different to me because CBs are always late risers. For much of last year Revis was slotted in the late 20's, but the week before the draft there were rumors that there was no chance in hell of him getting past the Steelers. The way I see it with this drafts and any drafts elite CBs (Jenkins and Talib included), if this coaching staff likes them enough to pick them then I'm cool with it. CB has just as much to do with physical talent as it does with aggressiveness and the general mentality. CBs have to be even more disciplined than the DL does in todays NFL, and when a guy has the physical ability and the game tape it's always going to come down to what the coaches see in interviews.
Hey....Thanks for the heads up....I never saw the post....But its all comments by the usual suspects..... So who really cares. Most of them are hibituaters of the B.S. lounge. They no very little about football, talent evaluation, or obviously life. lol.
Would love for Tannenbaum to trade down and somehow pick up Rodgers-Cromartie and a late 1st / early 2nd. Would be happy with Gholston, too, I suppose. If we take McFadden, is there a dominant pass-rushing DE / OLB to be had with our 2nd round pick?
I love the trade down scenerio also, Pats Sims is strong at the point of attack. There are other OLB with speed & pass rushing skills.
