The night the Jets got him was awesome. The six touchdowns was awesome. The Titans win was awesome. I loved every game he played in as a Jet. It was great!
I will always remember him streaking off the field like a loser bitch after falling to Miami the last week of the season. I dont think he stopped running until he got to Mississippi. I am glad this embarassment if off the team.
It's a tie between leading the league in interceptions, thus costing us a playoff spot, and his "if we win we win, if we don't we don't" pep talk before the Miami game.
Ill remember Brett the Farve as another odd ball ocurrance in Jets History that ended badly. Time to change the avi!
I will always remember what a big baby he is...and how he screwed our chance for greatness in 2008. F him.
I'll always remember the first TD bomb to Cotchery, and the back to back wins in New England and Tennessee. Our season was lost for reasons far beyond the quarterback. We'll see next year what it means to have a shitty QB.
The constant use of antacid to get through the last six weeks of the season !!! Hall of Famer but not in a jets shirt thats for sure more like Glen Foley!!
I could agree with many of these, but I'll add a different & more obscure one for variety: The 4th down TD pass early in the first Miami game, after Nugent was out hurt (which turned out being the difference for the win), He had a Miami lineman hanging on him as he threw, and he essentially ... chucked it up for whoever could bring it down. Fortunately it was us, & we got 6 points I pick that because it was quintessential Favre: Always looking for a way to make something out of a busted play (sometimes he looks too hard, though not in this case) Presence of mind of the situation (it was 4th down, so if gets sacked we lose the ball anyway, taking the sack is actually worse than an interception) Putting winning above all else; Total disregard for what this would do to his personal stats (QB rating) if it didn't work out. Mangini even talked about that after the game, a lot of QBs would not even try because of the risk to their personal stats, because fans will use it to bash you if they don't like you). And someone did analysis once that a very large # of Favre's INTs came when his team was down by more than one touchdown, or down & in the final minutes of a game. Trusting your teammate to make a play on the other end, even though at that point he'd never played in a real game with them before Just plain ability to get a throw like that off while a defensive end has you in his grasp and is pulling you down Now I know there are one or two things on that list that some people use as the reasons they hate Favre, but what can I say, I disagree.
Waking up on August, what was it, the 4th? and having my father with the Daily News in my face and it was a picture of Favre saying we got him.

The ridiculous interception he threw to the Seahawks. What an embarrasment. I know Holmgren was like thank god I'm not coaching this guy anymore.
