It would’ve been a bad long term strategy to paying anything for great or even good players in FA 2020. Delays the tear down It would’ve been a bad long term strategy for paying anything big and long term for any big name big money players in FA 2021. Can’t lay a foundation if you hinder your own cap flexibility. I think JDs MO is that he spends money wisely and prudently. Making 2 or 3 big moves this off-season would be both wise and prudent and would be something I expect from JD. Schultz’s hometown is only a couple of miles from Zach’s. Signing him and a RG will give JD the draft flexibility he loves.
I understand, and I'm hopeful that this year will be the year JD starts being more aggressive in FA, but until he does that, the jury is out.
He had some dropsies in Tennessee actually. He was reliable his last season, which just so happened to be a contract year, but his early years there were questions about his hands & reliability
Huh? It says 37.5% now. Surely no TGG poster would go vote now or change their vote to look good, would they? It actually looks like there are four selections there that weren't there before. Too bad this poll is confidential.
This morning, I wanted to see how well TGG predicted re: Berrios. I saw that I would have to participate to see the results. I didn't know what to do, and then I got distracted by something and forgot about it. But if there were others like me who wanted to see the results after the fact, it means they would have to participate, while already knowing the correct amount. And what do you do then? Pick the right amount? Pick a wrong amount? Or... just remain in ignorance? I relate to this dilemma. lol.
