I'm guessing Hack sounded disappointed about the Jets season, but said he learned a lot this year from watching the game, is eager to get some reps, thinks that fans will be excited next year and said he loves playing for the New York Jets. Those are all the stereotypical things that you can expect from a rookie that hasn't done shit. Seems a little harsh. Yeah, you got most of it right. Clearly Hackenberg is a work in progress though. Sounds like all he did was run Scout Team all year and this week is his first week of actual Reps with the team. He said being Red Shirted was the plan all along. That is about it. I hope he turns out to be a franchise QB. It would be a huge relief.
