I would leave WR as is for now only adding some cheaper guys to compete, but nothing major. This is not a good WR FA group, it never was. And Amari is old now and is not worth the price. I also think Mason Taylor can surprise people and be #2 option. I didn't realize the guy had 96% separation rate in college. Given he doesn't drop anything either (anthesis of Arian) he should have been targeted more in LSU. He is also a 3 year starter, and still 20 years old and can make rapid improvements. By the time September rolls, he may be a major contributor for us in the passing game.
Rookie training camp disagrees. He had a great camp, including catching the ball. Sometimes we have to trust those that are paid to make the decisions.
Well, if he is a standout in rookie training camp, that totally changes my opinion. I'll have to buy his jersey and hang it in my closet right next to my David Clowney and Kenny Yeboah jerseys.
Well, honestly, I’m of the position that until the new guys in charge of making these decisions prove that they are better than the endless shitshow parade of idiots that we’ve had making these decisions since the Parcells days, no, I don’t have to trust them. Not least of all because the same scouts who rated the previous drafts are still the same guys rating these kids. Not trying to be a darksider but this team has just beaten all my optimism out of me pretty much…I am firmly in the “show me don’t tell me” mode with Woody and the endless string of stupid decisions and ineptitude.
You don't need to buy the jersey, but why are you discounting a good performance in the training camp? This is as valuable data point as any other. Doesn't mean the guy will be a star, but it is certainly a good thing that by all accounts our 4th round pick Arian who had some question marks in College, had one of the best camps of all rookies and appears to shown improvement in key areas. And so far Arian has shown. It's a good thing. I want to see more.

The hands are concerning, but if he ever gets a handle on catching the ball, he will be a really valuable player. He's tough for his size and an excellent blocker. I saw him blocking linebackers on the goal line. He's already valuable in multiple spots on STs.
