After a hiatus for a bit, on another Jets site that will not be names here, I am back baby!! Petro, we can now get back to business. Fitz
Your first task...Click the ads for 2 hours straight as your punishment for abandoning ship in the first place.
Hi guys, my name is Hugo and I'm a Jets fan from Sweden. Sounds weird but it's true. Talk to you soon!
Haha, that is awesome. Didn't know you had even heard that name in the us. How did you come up with that?
I think from a Simpsons episode...It was a chubby and lazy fish and it just felt like Hugo suited it perfectly.
I've been a long time reader of these boards, finally decided to join due to my move to Texas, and lack of fans to talk Jet football in the Lone Star State.
The Cowboy fans down here are split, they are either the old oilfield worker guys from West Texas, (who rave about Staubach & Tony Dorsett) that eventually moved to Houston, or the typical T-shirt fans that are in Jersey/New York. The good thing about living in Houston; is the Houston sportstalk radio down here absolutely rips the Cowboys and their fans.
Hi All, my name is Andy and I became a Jets fan when I was 3 and my parents gave me Jets pajamas. Been my team for 22 years now. Grew up in Albany NY, now live in Philly.
Bandwagon. Grew up in Hemptstead, NY. Live in Ohio. Not exactly a 'new' member, but I've replied to a few threads recently.
What's up everybody. I'm new here, just signed up on the forum today. My name is Ben and I'm a Jets fan from the good ol' G as in Germany. Been a Jets fan ever since the 2010 season, so not nearly as long as probably most of you have been true to Gang Green. I wasn't even a NFL fan. Growing up in Germany soccer was the way to go. But through an American colleague I got interested a bit, though not yet hooked. I was interested in getting serious about it, but there was a problem: I had no favorite team to root for. I ended up choosing the Jets for - maybe this is a bit silly - two main reasons: Green is my favorite color. And I've been a big fan of "King of Queens" and Kevin James, who's a huge Jets fan. The other reason, obviously, is... NYC is the greatest city in the world (from what I know about it, haven't been to the US yet though...). Anyway, I got spoiled quickly with the Jets again going all the way to the AFC Championship Game that first season I followed them. I had to tivo the game, got home from work after somehow avoiding all sports websites throughout the day, only to suffer heartbreak like probably most of you. I almost called in sick the next day... Anyway, that's my story in a nutshell. I love the Jets. They're my team and will always be, I don't care what anybody says. And there is nothing that the Jets can do to turn me away... no pain, no gain. Thanks for having me, folks!
