We had a slight advantage in the play in the first half but again with out turnovers or special team plays we failed to exploit that advantage. Another way to look at a team that is "outplaying" another team but not outscoring the other team is they aren't as efficient and need to do much more on both sides of the ball in order to win. Teams that need to play substantially better than the opposition at home in order to win says something about that team. Brains matter, big plays matter, mistakes matter and you get judged by those things in a critical way, scoreboard and standings. I've seen allot of good boxers beat the crap out of guys for round after round only to get knocked out. It looked like they were beating the hell out of the other guy but they certainly weren't better fighters.
