Don Shula would most definitely approve of the atrocious field conditions. Another "legendary coach" who resorted to blatant cheating because he could not win anything during the last quarter century of his coaching career.

Outside of Enunwa.. the mental toughness of the WR group is alarmingly bad

 

Looked to me like they fckn quit today on Sam. Blowes didn't do his team any favors by keeping Long in there either..

 

that was a really fun watch - bad luck Jets, you played your hearts out and left it all on the field - so close and unlucky not to come away with a win

 

Anderson looks like he has no interest in anything other than the deep ball.

I have no idea what happened to Kearse, he looks/ acts like a totally different player from last year.

 

As long as the Jets print money, that ain't happening..

 

I think we will get a top first round pick again next year

 

I think in Anderson's case he's not real keen on getting hit over the middle. On those long plays, its a gentle tackle and glide to the ground. Kearse? You get the feeling he's losing interest and is bored for the most part with this offense. He's probably missing the good old days with Russell Wilson about now.

 

4pm games are worse...

 

Regarding Anderson, i agree with that but he also does other crap. I can tell when he's not involved in a play just from his effort and body language.

Ive changed my mind on him and i want him off the team. However we have way too many other holes to really do that.

 

He's a RFA and if things don't change for him PDQ, he's not gonna get paid here unless Macc's back is against the wall ( and it very well could be considering...). Teams were interested in him and honestly, the Jets should have entertained the idea. They may have gotten a second back for him and since we're gonna be drafting top 10 again, a late second rd might have come in handy.

 

I think I’m done. I was hoping this season was going to be a fun ride watching Sam progress but it’s turned into the usual clusterfuck. I’ve had 35 years of this and, with the gaping WR, OL and Edge needs, I think we are more than two seasons away from being half-competent.

I taped the game and only checked in on it intermittently. Thank heaven for small miracles. This was the first time that I saw Sam Darnold look a little rattled because there is just NOTHING on either side of the ball, but still not a deer in the headlights. Bad INT but towards the end, but I won't kill it for him for it. This team flat out sucks.

 

Jets wine is probably pretty crappy too.
