I wonder if we're going to manage to make Tannehill look like a good quarterback and actually complete balls that aren't five yard crossing patterns to Jarvis Landry. Something tells me we'll make him look a lot better than he is.
Kenny Stills to be honest makes me more nervous because he can get behind the defense and Tannehill has actually been connecting on deep passes this season. He wasn't that good down field until really this season. I think he'll take one at least to the house probably on opening drive like every other game. We will make him look better, but I think the Jets will generate a turnover late in the game.
I want us to win but I want to see us play a complete game without crapping the bed in any given area. No..... I know. I'm asking to much.
You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want But if you try sometimes well you just might find You get what you need
It's in shambles when everyone's healthy. If Mangold doesn't play, we could get destroyed by Suh on the inside. Luckily he's another player that gives a half ass effort because he got paid.
We managed to make Josh McCown look pretty damn good last week. I fully expect Tannehill to throw for 300+ it's just a matter if he decides he wants to throw balls right to us or not a couple times this week. I've never in my life seen opposing teams catch so many contested balls in my life, even with good coverage sometimes.
My attitude is the Jets are in a win /win situation Winning? Then a Small possibility we make playoffs if someone else screws up We lose and get a better draft pick plus Petty will be starting games faster BTW I told people last Spring/Summer they would be burning their Mevi$ jerseys (if they haven't done so already) He clearly is MIke Ms most expensive mistake...gets bombed and keeps opponents in game...sit him then can him end of season
The refs! Avg. O line that holds all game thanks to the refs not calling it. I also think is any pass rushers make eye contact with Brady it's flagged for unsportsmanlike contact.
The Jets come out strong for the first time since Week 2 in Buffalo. Play a solid game with few mistakes, but Miami makes their plays too. 27-24 J-E-T-S.
Spiller fumbles away a game winning drive, gets cut the next day. Ganggreen nation spends a week verbally trying to will the jets a win against the rams. Lol
I heard somewhere this is Marshall's first game playing back in Miami since they traded him....He's gonna have his jaw in overdrive. Like you say, really hope he stops dropping critical 3rd down passes has some monster catches in there to spark the offense
I really want to beat the Fish this week, and if we can't do that at least I hope we score more points than them.
It's cooled off a bit in Miami so it's only 80, it was over 85 when Pitt played Miami a few weeks ago, and there is a shot of Pittsburgh's Timmons throwing up in the heat with around 25 seconds left in the 2nd quarter (NFL Game Pass!). Ajayi has good vision for the hole and some quick initial moves, most of his runs are outside the tackle, but if there is a hole on the inside he can make his way through it. Miami is the same mediocre team it's always been, lots of penalties and generally weak passing game. It could be an ugly one if the Jets don't come to play, ready for the heat, and ready to hang in all game against the run because Ajayi stays strong all the way to the end. Ron
What you say about contested balls is so spot on. I've been screaming about it all year. The only time our receivers seem to catch a pass is when it's wide open, but other teams catch passes even if our DBs are inside their jerseys. It really is maddening to watch.
My credo is if the Jets only win 2 games in a season and those 2 games are against the Miami Dolphags...that's a good season.
