that my friend is a visual representation of jets fans blowing their load on the team beating philly before the game was even played. Note its early arrival and the relationship between the ridiculously phallic nature of the jet and the teams color choice, these are crucial elements in the performance.
Only concern I have about this game is us coming back from the bye. Under Rex we were terrible. Hopefully Bowles has the boys up for the game and ready to go. I trust vets like Fitz and Marshall will be good to go and obviously Revis is going to have the D ready. Extra motivation with Sheldon coming back as well. Skins has a couple nice players but this is a game we should win. Their D is very underrated as well. I think we win but will most likely be closer than it should be.
The problem is we could have virtually no running game again against Washington like we did against Philly. They're going to sell out versus Ivory and they have a good front 7. The problem for them is Cousins is terrible vs. pressure. I'm feeling an ugly 17-7 game or something of the like.
I'm not exactly overwhelmed with confidence after the game against the Phins. Yeah we won but we let them back into the game and they are a terrible team. I want to hear the injury updates on the guys we lost in that game to injury (Harris,Pryor and Williams) and guys who were struggling with some stuff (namely Decker and maybe Revis a bit too but he seemed fine). If most of those guys are going to be good to go and we get Richardson back then I will feel a lot more confident in our chances to win. I'm not over-estimating Washington...just aware of our tendency to occasionally struggle against mediocre or just plain bad teams.
The first half will be 7 or 10 Wash Jets zero Second half we roar back. This is a doable catch up for Fitz and D. Final: Jets 23 Wash 13
I think we're good against Washington. The bye is at a good time for TB to assess, and for the team to get healthy. Getting Decker healthy is important. The rest will do Ivory and Revis good also, and everybody else for that matter. Decker and Marshall are key for Fitz. Maybe we can get a TE into the mix.....Yo Cumby wtf? Sheldon gets in the mix too Washington will play it's second road game in a row. One caveat: Historically this a game we have a tough time winning. A home favorite where everything looks to be in our favor. I've lost this bet many times
Pats are playing against the Colts on Sunday night before they play us. I don't think they will put them on Sunday night on back to back weeks.
Early August this was supposed to be Robert Griffin III vs. Geno Smith. Now it is projected Kirk Cousins vs. Ryan Fitzpatrick with both Smith and RGIII healthy on the sidelines. The NFL is an interesting sport!

This game will be like week 1 and week 4. -They have a poor QB. -our D will force turnovers -need fitz to not turn it over more then 1 time or vomit all over himself -special teams cant turn it over or give up a score do that and we win. we should win. cousins is a dope who loves throwing the ball away. they have no game breakers. we should win
Hope this doesn't turn into a trap game because we're usually awful after the bye, and Washington isn't great. I'd love to be 4-1 going to New England the week after.. Just fucking win, baby!
