It’s not THE only reason. There could very well be a viewership drop as a whole. But losing the ability to count 3 networks in your total and reducing it to 1 especially when that one is an OTT service definitely makes a difference. I work in TV, everything is bullshit. If the money is up nothing else matters to them.
STUDS: Quinnen Williams - Not just for the pick. Dude is elite, plain and simple. Even when he's not getting to the QB, he's creating disruption up front and collapsing the interior. Quincy Williams - When the Jets signed him I had no idea he'd be this good. Flashed a bit last season, but now he is elite and on a pro bowl track. CJ Mosley - Crucial forced fumble, the usual good tackling, and solid in coverage too. Bryce Huff - 1.5 sacks, 2 QB hits. Jermaine Johnson - 3 big pass defenses, one was a tipped ball for a pick, another became the Quinnen interception. He's a game changer. Breece Hall - Kept the Jets relevant. Had a big run on the winning drive and the game winning touchdown. Jeff Ulbrich - He learns as he goes on and makes adjustments that practically shut teams out in 2nd halves. Greg Zuerlein: 4/4. Accounted for the majority of Jets points. Honorable mentions: Tony Adams, Craig James, Max Mitchell DUDS: Nathaniel Hackett - The guy has to get more creative in the red zone. If the Jets converted TDs on just half of these possessions that get near the 10, these games wouldn't be close. Now I know errors in execution were also part of it, but open up the playbook, please.
