I've thought he was decent, I've never anointed him as the best corner in the league or anything. It was just surprising to see him get abused like that. By a guy who's started 2 games in the league not to mention.
Yes, it turned out to be a good one. The key play in the game (aside from the Favre to Lewis game ender, of course) was the blocked FG return as time expired in the 1st half. I saw that play live. The Vikings were looking to go up 16-7. Instead, SF 14, MIN 13 at halftime. That play obviously made the game a tight one in the second half. I knew the Seahawks liked that neon green as an accent color for a few years now, but to go to that as the primary color on their jerseys was really out there. It's so very crazy that it's actually good. They should wear those a couple times every year, which I suppose it going to be the case.
I switched to the Chiefs-Eagles game during a Jets commercial break. Mark Bradley had just thrown a pass. Kevin Harlan remarked that it was the first pass Bradley threw as a pro. He then mentioned how Bradley played QB in high school and some in college, too, or something. Why was Harlan not aware that Bradley threw a 37-yard TD pass to Tyler Thigpen last year? I mean, he likely had media guides and all sorts of player notes in front of him. I don't understand mistakes like that.
I'm with you. I need the Dallas D to shut down Moose and Williams. I don't think Witten will score 40 points on me. It's gonna suck me saying this, but...*gulp*...g-go dallas...
