He had the defender beat by at least a step on most plays but Fitz uderthrew him making him break stride and allowing the defender to gain lost ground and allow them to turn their head to make a play. In college Cardelle underthrew Smith a bunch too, but he was usually 20 steps past the defender and could slow down to make a catch without the defender on him. You don't get that very often in the NFL.
Brandon Marshall had a heroic game today!!! It boggles the mind that some people are complaining about him after he put up over 100 yards and a TD even though he was the only receiver the Eagles had to respect today. Marshall was our MVP, that's for sure.

Sproles was the difference. We just couldn't seem to get a grip on him and bring him down in the first quarter........shades of all those missed tackles back in pre-season.

It was a GREAT EFFORT by a WINNER that didn't work out, but then he more than made up for it by practically taking over the game and sticking it to the Eagles D. That's why the announcers were talking about how great a game he had. But you can "hate on him" as the kids say, because you don't like his personality.

Fitz killed us..under threw Smith 3 or 4 times..constantly checks down,he cant throw down field...I would much rather give Geno a shot..
Fitz gives another week of that and yeah its the perfect time for a switch. he should absolutely start next week.
