they're trying to show how the Ravens are struggling, so a graphic on screen shows the last four drives FG punt halftime punt that's not that bad. Halftime they got it right before the half deep in their own territory so they kneeled it. That doesn't even count. No turnovers, one out of the 3 they scored. Not bad.
in the first half, they called Matt Elam "Abram Elam" (he's out of the NFL) Better than calling him Jason Elam, I suppose.
it actually works for the ravens that it's not a TD if they don't punch it in, they probably run over a minute off the clock
I would love for the Jets to just beat the shit out of the Steelers when they come here next month. That hit on Roethlisberger was very enjoyable to watch.
2010 in Pittsburgh, close game though, the Steelers were at the goal line as time expired. I think this year we finally have the recipe to beat the crap out of em. Last year they were coming off a bye against a rookie QB, this year we wont be having a rookie qb starting.
For whatever reason, Big Ben always donkey punches our defense. We always have so much trouble getting him off the field on 3rd down. There are few games on the schedule I want to win more than this one.
I like our chances against finesse teams. But it's physical teams like the 49ers, Ravens, Bengals, and Steelers that seem to give us fits. We can out physical the Falcons and Saints. But a physical team like the Panthers punched us in the mouth. A true test for us is beating the Steelers. Since we don't play too many physical teams this year.
Like which ones? Denver? And I cant stand Pittsburgh, im still pissed about 2010. The Packers and Steelers are forever indebted to the Jets because New England was going to win the Super Bowl had we not beat them. (well Green Bay may have won but Pittsburgh would have gotten killed had they gone to New England...)
The Patriots are on tv, and the Lions are on tv. I'll go back, and forth until the Pats are up 14. I'd much rather watch Megatron win me my fantasy games.
