Dak picked us apart with short throws... and we invited him to do that.

Ulbrich needs to throw some change-ups.

Cook is not himself but the blame with the running game should be primarily on Nathaniel Hackett's shoulders. He is too gimmicky. That has been an issue everywhere he went.

Line up and run these guys straight off tackle. When you have a DE that is destroying the game like Parsons was, that's even more of a reason to run right AT him, to tire him out and make him take on multiple blockers.

When Cook comes into the game the defense knows its a lateral running play on the edge. It's a gimmicky blocking scheme but the gimmick is out the window because they know it is coming

Cook is himself. He’s literally the same play as last year

    i remember 1, don't remember a 2nd one but it's possible

we ran twice behind becton AVT and got 6 yards both times. we ran the rest behind brown and tomlinson against parsons and averaged less then 2 YPC on those runs. 90% of the pressures came from the left side of the line. from my count becton/AVT only let up 1 pressure combined
QBs have a high QBR on him this year. dak was no different. allowing 6 catches on 7 throws his way is bad. he also whiffed on a 3rd down tackle that would have forced a punt and dropped an easy pick 6. both while the game was still close zachs numbers were bad because of the o-line he made some nice throws and only had a couple of bad plays
my best guess for WMD is gameplan. seems like we wanted to be bigger on the d-line and stop the run. like the CS thought dallas was going to try and run it down our throats and not pass much. instead we got no pressure and dak sat back and picked apart holes in our zones
MC2 got hurt and echols was not good in the slot. we may have been better off moving reed to the slot and letting echols be outside for the game
lol almost like I predicted that but everyone called me an idiot because he was a big name

Yeah that’s the problem…quick throws against a zone is the way to beat our D…it negates the pass rush if the QB throws it out quickly, it negates the impact Reed and Sauce can have if the O focuses on short stuff in the middle, and if the O is patient enough to just keep making 4-5 yards per play mixing in the run and then the occasional deeper ball, it’s tough to stop.

I say Tyler Conklin gets a game ball.

Aside from Wilson he was our only real threat in the passing game.

As I see it the coaching staff, in total, was the DUD. "Maybe" on ST they get a minor pass because they were able to bring in a guy and he didn't miss a kick, the two that he had. Other than that no bueno on the entire group of them.

The team wasn't prepared...period. They must have been watching film on a different Dallas team. One where Parsons wasn't yet on it. Break out your stop watches my friends and take some numbers. ZW may not be the second coming of Trent Dilfer but I don't care WHO you are. You need more than 2 seconds to pass a football. Even in the NFL. He could have been the most accurate QB this side of Joe Montana and it wouldn't have mattered. The team came out FLAT. Not just regular flat but super FLAT. Not a single guy, that I could tell, looked like they wanted to be there.

When you have a guy like Parsons on the other side of the ball you take it TO him. You STONE his ass! Where were the double teams? The chips...Parsons should have been picking his ass off the ground on every single play. You do that until you SLOW HIM DOWN. Bring in a damn OL-man to be a fullback and truck his ass! They most certainly weren't blocking so bring one in to be a "Parsons killer." Make that asshole EARN every touch on the QB. I don't know exactly "what" I was watching but it sure as hell wasn't a top, er excuse me, mid-shelf football team. You can flap your ass all you want about our run defense. Who gives an ass about that when you can be throwing to Lamb and Pollard, AT WILL! The ENTIRE secondary was Lamb's bitch on Sunday. All of them.

Sauce better wake up. He strikes me as, "welp, I just won D-Rookie of the year so the leagues WR's are just going to wilt in my presence!" He didn't look good LAST week. Someone needs to tell that kid the NFL stands for "Not For Long." You earn every year. In the NFL, after a year like he had last year, they come GUNNING for you! When you do it year in and out for 4 or 5 years then, and only then, do you get the R-E-S-P-E-C-T that guys, like Revis, garnered. He needs to stop doing Buffalo Wild Wings commercials and get his ass back on the field for some practice.

Unlike some of you, I'm giving Zach Wilson a full pass for a change. He got his ass kicked from the first snap until the last. 2 of those 3 int's were him trying to make a play for an offense that chose to stay at home in Florham Park. That was a travesty on display and if I hear one more bullshit positive "feel good" presser from Saleh I'm going to slap someone.

This team isn't going to win shit this year. About the ONLY game I see on the schedule that they "might" be able to bullshit their way through is Houston. Even then, by that time, their young QB may have gathered enough experience where THAT one won't be a snap of the fingers either. We traditionally play the Raiders POORLY on the road so you can kiss that one goodbye. No sir, I feel like we'll be LUCKY to pull down another win or two and those BOTH will be because the coaching staff found 1,000 four leaf clovers on their practice field. What a disgusting disgrace.

If I read one more comment in a thread about how we have to "go out and find another QB this year" I'm going to puke. What EVERYONE, down to a man, woman and child on this message board along with every coach, scout and front office person for this team needs to be overturning every tree, rock or blade of grass for some COMPETENT offensive linemen!!!!!!

One more point... Had Aaron Rodgers made it out of Buffalo we would have lost him on Sunday. That is all...

    Dud:

1.Tony Romo's mentioning on air that Jeff Ulbrich will be a hot coaching candidate after this season. Tony smittin for the hat backwards, cool graybeard look obviously.

    2. I'm not one to usually shit on refs, but those two roughing the passer penalties?! Holy cow. Clemons hit was absolute textbook. Even the aforementioned Dallas fan boy Romo was critical of them.

totally agree. The whole line sucked. AVT seems to get a pass because of the good year he had. Becton graded as one of the worst performers pass blockers.

I pray that there's a team out there dumb enough to offer Ulbrich a head coaching job. Talk about addition by subtraction....

Naw...disagree with this one. I guess if Dallas completely changed their game plan then we "might" have won but we were no closer to winning that game, if Sauce makes the pick, than if Rodgers were back there instead of ZW. The New York Football Jets weren't winning that game with that o-line. Period...

lol that literally proved exactly the numbers i said right. thrown at 7 times, let up 6 catches and a TD. also had a dropped pick 6 and a bad missed tackle on 3rd down that would have prevented a 1st. all the same stuff I said. He wasn't awful, but he wasn't playing like the best CB in the league

He gave up 30 yards man. It's insanity that you have him as a dud while zach wilson isn't on the list. zach wilson was way worse than sauce gardner yesterday.
