seriously bizarre ending. The blown call because of Hochuli's whistle, then Royal getting the TD after a strange draw play on 3rd and goal, and then Shanahan going for 2! I don't agree with going for 2 in that situation. Also, Chambers not getting the second foot down. Strange play because Paymah didn't try to make a play on the ball OR the receiver. He just watched Chambers. Wow. Broncos win, 39-38. Chargers get screwed badly on two change of possession calls. Chambers was down before the ball came out earlier in the game, but the replay system wasn't functioning so it couldn't be reversed. Then Cutler fumbled but Hochuli blew the whistle too early, ending the play.
Mike Tice did it several years back with the same positive results. I think the Texans did it one time, too.
yep, I remember the Tice one. Was a shocker then too. Of course, the game didn't matter much for them. They were 3-10. This game matters very much for Denver. Tom Coughlin did it in 1995 against the Bucs but lost. Mike Tice's did it in 2002 against the Saints and won.
