Week 2: New York Jets @ Buffalo Bills (TNF)

Based on week 1 performances and rosters, it seems like the Jets have the huge upper hand. Don't let that fool you.

As Jets fans, we all know by now the Jets are going to do everything in their power to keep the Bills in the game and the Bills players are going to have some of their best performances of the season against us.

Our D line is unreal and I bet there will be several plays where we get no pressure on 3rd and long and the Bills convert the first down.

Sammy Watkins is hurt and may or may not play? He'll score at least a touchdown then. We got faster at the LB position? Tyrod is going to pick up a ton of yardage on the run then.

It's just what to be expected as a Jets fan.

And if i'm being honest, i'm not even sure why people think the Jets roster is that much better than the Bills.

Buffalo has a pretty talented roster and just beat ass last year - twice.

 

its because half their team is suspended and/or hurt and the Jets have made improvements to their roster. for the first time in a few years we will have more talent on the field in a matchup against them

 

i thought the teams were similarly talented last year as well, with the Jets having a slight edge in the health dept..

this year tho, i agree we are in a lot better shape from a talent perspective heading into Thurs night.

 

I heard we're in all white Thursday night.


I hope that's true.

 

Easily my favorite Jets uniforms.

they manage to incorporate more shades of olive greens every season.

Not at the two most important positions: cb and qb. they have the edge in both.

But the Bills are 5-1 against the Jets the last 3 seasons.

And they've outscored em by a ton too.

yes and you know the Buffalo coach was part of those Jets losses for 2 of those 3 seasons. and in the games where they were outscored the most. so maybe that stat doesn't mean diddly-squat?

 

which would make the Buffalo coach 1-3 and Bowels 0-2.

All white on Thursday fellas with white facemasks which look dope as fuckkk... People were having a fit last year trying to tell which team was which when we wore green and the bills wore red so all white it is.

That was the case last year, both games. Second more than the first, though.

 

I've seen people write this a lot, but honestly, as a Buffalo fan who watches all their games, I would have to say that's untrue. I can't think of anyone who had their best performance against the Jets last year. McCoy was great the first game, but he's great in all games. Same for Watkins & Co. I don't think there were any unsung heroes, so to speak.

 

Surprisingly, the facemask color actually makes a big difference, IMO. The white one looks great, a lot better.

 

I have to see how it goes with the uniforms, but I agree with you, I am digging it.

Wonder if Rex will pull some wildcat out of his ass for old times sake.

 

We will find out how good this CS and team is this week. If they do not make in game adjustments and we tackle as poorly as we did on Sunday we will be 0-2 and the pressure will start to mount on the CS by the media and by Woody who stated he wasn't thrilled with their effort last week.
