Did anyone have a better offensive performance than Cam Newton today? 24/40, 353 passing yards, 4 TD's/1 INT along with 37 yards rushing. He's an animal. Benjamin also feasted at WR with 7 catches for 108 receiving yards and 2 TD receptions. And I'm not sure any rookie had a better showing than Corey Coleman of Cleveland with 5 catches for 104 receiving yards and 2 TD receptions.
San Diego is gonna have a hard time without Allen and maybe Woodhead... That is alot of offensive production New England loses Jimmy G enough said Giants Saints was suppose to be a game of high scores...defensive slug fest
I don't think this is thread worthy, but how yall feeling about Aaron Rodgers as of late? Dude has been really mediocre the past 10 or so games. Vikings defense is elite however.
He's still hands down one of the top 5 QB's in today's game. He's been having struggles from time to time but I'd absolutely love to have Aaron Rodgers as our Quarterback. I feel Fitzpatrick can have a special season and very hopeful for a 1998 Broadway Vinny type of year but Aaron Rodgers would have us considered as being instant Super Bowl favorites. QB: Aaron Rodgers. HB: Matt Forte. WR: Brandon Marshall. WR: Eric Decker. That's an All-Star offense right there. Throw in the likes of an emerging Enunwa along with younger prospects such as Jalin Marshall etc and having an Aaron Rodgers leading our offensive attack would bring back menories of the greatest show on turf under Kurt Warner. Aaron Rodgers at the age of 32 is a QB I'd die for with this roster moving forward.
I don't think he was saying "I wouldn't want Rodgers to be our QB." Nobody is that stupid. What he was referring to is the drop in Rodgers play the last two years. He's still good, but he's clearly not the same guy he once was.
Yup ... makes ya think he lacks that one quality that Manning, Brady and Brees have. They make everyone around them better, maybe Rodgers develops that one day, but I don't see it now.
I'm not so sure about that. Just last year he made the Pro Bowl putting up 3,821 yards, completion percentage of 60.7%, 31 TD's/8 INT's with a QB Rating of 92.7 and the season before (2014) put up amazing numbers as an All-Pro QB. He's off to a slower start here in 2016 but then again GB's offensive line has looked pretty bad. I could be wrong but I still see an absolutely great quarterback in Rodgers and it'll be hard to convince me of 5 QB's who are currently better than him.
Carson Wentz looks as comfortable as I've ever seen a rookie QB look this early, both making audibles presnap and working within the pocket
Is there a backup QB in the league who plays more then Brian Hoyer? This guy always manages to find his way onto the field.
Cutler asked out of the game after throwing another pick. Guy has always been a loser, but hey, he did con the Bears into giving him a huge contract.
This is what, his 10th season as a starter but yet he's A.) Only had 1 year with a QB Rating over 90 & B.) Only 3 winning seasons. Wouldn't say he's anything close to a bust but because of a cannon for an arm he's imo one of the most overrated quarterbacks of my generation. No finesse game whatsoever.
I think I feel worse for Bears fans than any other team. At least with the Browns you have new QBs to renew hope every year. They've been stuck with the same bullshit for years and it doesn't seem like he even cares.
