I didn't like that, I didn't think the Saints could score a TD on a long field, I think Pittsburgh actually had them, which is hard for me to say because I have been saying Saints are Super Bowl favorites since the season started.
I wouldn't mind getting a look at Ravens/Browns next week either. I know we can't just assume a different outcome, but good lord imagine if they had fired Clueless Hue earlier. Or not brought him back in the first place.
For SNF? The issue would that is, if the Steelers lose earlier in the day then the Ravens clinch the division and then are in a meaningless game against the Browns. Im pretty sure if Pittsburgh had won, there wouldn't have been a SNF game like last year.
Nah, I just want to see it in general. Probably won't air in NY unless they move those games to 4pm, but I think I'll look up a stream. Which is something I never thought I'd say for a Browns game.
Its possible, I think the Ravens-Browns and Steelers Bengals could end up being play at the same time in the 4:25 time slot. CBS would put the Ravens-Browns in for a national audience.... On the NFC side the Vikings are win an in against Chicago, the Seahawks game could be meaningful to if they lose tonight, Philly is in a must win situation. Plenty of games all over with playoff implications. The Rams have to win to so they will probably be playing at the same time as the Bears.
KC still only have 3 losses, so they'd have to lose twice. In that scenario, the Chargers would have to lose next week as well, since if they won they'd win the AFCW and leapfrog into the #1 spot.
JFC that sequence was absurd. KCs defense is terrible but how do you defend those throws? Chiefs about to be 11-4, and yet still win the AFCW and the #1 seed with a win next week. Unless they find a way to lose at home to the fucking Raiders.
I get more confused than ever at this time of year when it comes to PO seeding. You look at it on paper and go, "OK, this is how it's going to go." But no!!! It turns into Mr. Peebles sending Magilla Gorilla on a delivery on his bicycle. "Deliver this milk to Miss Birdseed." On the way there, Magilla gets as confused as me. "Birdseed to Miss Milksop?" Yeah, it's like that.
The AFC is ridiculously wide open. KC's defense is monumentally bad. The Chargers have a history of failure and absolutely no home field advantage (and would likely have no home games anyway). Houston and New England have had bad Decembers. Baltimore is probably playing the best of any AFC team, but have a starting QB who has started six NFL games in his career. Indianapolis is good at things, but other than passing offense not really special at anything, and Tennessee's QB situation is bad. If Pittsburgh somehow sneaks in you obviously can't count on them for much given that they've lost 4 of their last 5.
And the Raiders are currently beating the Broncos, haha. The field looks terrible, too. Anyway, any given Thursday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday. The penalties racked up in this game by Denver are making the Jets look good. Keenum picked off by Harris. That was really crap decision by Keenum. The Raiders are going to run away with this or kneel. Methinks Vance Joseph is done.
If the Chargers lose to the shitshow this Broncos team has become, and KC loses to the Raiders at Arrowhead, then we're living in the Matrix and I give up. I'll chalk tonight's game up to 'one bad team beats another'. As for Joseph....he isn't the one who bet on Case Keenum. He isn't the one who built that roster. He's also not a very good coach so he has to walk the plank for this (another competitor for the best coaching candidates, yay), but I wonder how long they let Elway run the show.
Kareem Hunt gave that team bad juju. They are headed for another 1st round exit. Nothing new for Andy Reid.
