Weird. I guess I just imagined RG3 having a great rookie year. These experts miss the boat more often than not.
Lots of spread QBs are succeeding these days. RG3 failed because his reckless scrambling got him injured and he wasn't willing/able to change.
What system did Dak Prescott play in? Aside from that, while QBs who played in a pro-style system would have an initial advantage, the things I would value above system are: What is their IQ; What is their competitive drive; What are their physical traits? None of these can be coached or learned, whereas playing system can be.
There's so many NFL teams that use a spread philosophy at this point that you might as well call it a pro style offense.
New York Jets @nyjets 9m9 minutes ago RB @MattForte22 is active. #MIAvsNYJ Well shit. I have Powell in my fantasy semis. Not quite sure why Forte is playing through a torn meniscus for this team right now?
Ditto, need a decent night from Powell. There is no logical reason for Forte playing any more in 2016.
I don't know why he is active. Guess he doesn't want Powell getting too much playing time at his expense.
Because Bowles knows that Miami will put 8 up front to stop the run, and to try to make Petty throw the ball. Because even he knows every coach would do just that, especially given the weather.
