Eli throws his 20th INT of the season to seal the end of playoff contention for the Giants. Kearse falls down on the long bomb and Wilson's pass is intercepted. SF wins.

That has to be the most insane rambling I've ever seen on the internet. By far. Can't move the ball at all? Did you watch the game against the Broncos? Patriots were walking through the field when Ridley fumbled. Then they got a turnover from Brady and after that Blount got knocked out and lost another fumble. Kind of hard to move the ball when you turn it over three times, don't you think? Only reason why they were able to stay in the game was because it was cold & windy, which is kryptonite for Manning. Perfect year for SB in NY: Seahawks will thump Denver by 20+ if the weather is bad. Manning can't make a single throw if it's cold enough plus he's shaky as hell in big games. And Pats didn't transform at all in today's game. They didn't get going because they took stupid penalties the whole first half and had 6 drops if I counted right. That plus a lucky onside kick + bad call = win.
Seattle proved a lot more to me today. Seattle practically has little to play for, is on the road, had a fumble get uncalled, yet despite this forced the Niners, who were in a must win game, grind out a game that was decided in the final minute. Seattle can go beat down the Giants next week and secure homefield and leave there mark in metlife stadium next week.
Interesting. He was 39/59 for 397 yards with 4 TDs and no INTs today in a game that was 18 degrees at kickoff and was below 15 later in the game.
What Thomas Davis did on 3rd and goal, that was legal? they should've let them score immediately after that long Gore run big mistake by Seattle could've used it too, with SF -2.5
Might be bad for us if they lose this one, a win and they may have been napping on this one but a L and they might be hungry.
Conversely, we can use the tape to help us. See how the Saints broke down their offense, and possibly their defense (though we won't be breaking that down any time soon).
I'm hearing things like "this was one of the greatest regular season weeks in NFL history.." over and over today and I have to wonder - Am I the only one who disagrees completely? There were a lot of high scoring games and close finishes, sure - but lost in all of that was some truly awful defenses (particularly tackling), some bad fundamentals and bad football overall, and disgusting officiating. I feel like this was one of the WORST weeks in recent memory. There were more touchdowns scored this week than any other week in NFL history previously. But, the cold weather lead to a lot of players not caring on defense it felt like. (The Baltimore and Washington games were EMBARRASING) And the officiating almost always went the way of aiding the offense, so no wonder. It breaks my heart but it's like they are dumbing down our game. There is less time to practice fundamentals overall, too many rules that help the offense, too much emphasis placed on highlight reel plays and less on playing defense, blocking and tackling. It's like watching the XFL or arena football every week. It's horrible for REAL football fans but great for the casual fan I guess. This would be like if baseball stadiums moved their homerun fences WAY in, umpires called every close call SAFE or a BALL, and every team loaded up on sluggers and didn't care about pitching. We see a lot of 15-14 scores and late game rallys, sure, but that doesn't mean it would be a good game.
all the uproar for the officiating in the Pats game, but what the fuck were the refs doing at the end of the Dolphins game? that was clearly a forward pass and no call by the refs. I don't care that they called him out of bounds correctly, but the ref couldn't have missed that forward pass; not calling it was a deliberate attempt to give the Steelers an opportunity to win.
