That kick barely snuck over the crossbar too. Good for him to hopefully set a record. I don't think it's official yet EDIT: Also key, Denver snuck out 10 points in the final 2 minutes of the half to turn 21-10 into 21-20. Poor job by TEN as DEN gets the ball back to start the 2nd half too
While I want the Chargers to lose, their offense sure is fun to watch. Rivers is hard to cheer against
I don't have any problem cheering against him. He's a jerk. Fun to watch at times, but never comes up big when it counts.
DO NOT LIKE THIS defenseless receiver call in Denver. Pollard led with his shoulder into Decker's shoulder.
Are Nantz and Simms really that stupid that they don't understand the defenseless receiver rule? That was an incredibly obvious penalty, based on the way the game is now officiated. It makes absolutely no difference that it would have otherwise been legal - the ball was well away from the receiver, his arms were up after trying to catch it while in midair, and Pollard laid him out. That is ALWAYS a penalty, period.
Welker already out. Decker out on this drive. So Manning hits D. Thomas for a 30 yard play then next play on the 4 yard TD.
Really? I didn't like the call. But I do understand now it's any big hit that hurts someone over the middle is a flag, even if it is "legal" by the books
This was a potential missed going for 2 option for Denver. Will see if it comes back to haunt them. Only up 6, but I'm sure DEN is going to score more and so will TEN
It's not legal by the books though, Decker was clearly defenseless and the defender initiated unnecessary conact. It's a penalty.
I swear I could see a Patriots score with them being down 30 and the next time I see it it's over and they won 31-30 Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
