it's cold and there's some wind (12, gusting to 19). I thought Dawson should've made it, but...

If you're a cold-weather kicker you'd better be able to make that. What would be the reaction be on this board if Feely misses a 41-yarder under those kinds of conditions this afternoon?

Springs knocks the INT away from Hall

That should've been Hall's second INT

But 41 yard FGs in bad weather aren't gimmes. If it was 30 yards or in and he missed it, yeah that's terrible. But no kicker is going to hit 90+% from 40 yards and more in bad weather.

As for the reaction on this board, most of the posters in the Jets forum simply don't know what they're talking about. It's sickening to read the crap that gets posted in there.

Now Vinatieri misses badly in Cleveland

Lousy kicker though, so that's more expected than Dawson missing

I should've known not to start Peyton over Roethlisberger

Cadillac Williams scored a TD for the Bucs.

Vilma had a nice strip of Michael Clayton earlier in the game. Clayton has severely dropped off as a pass receiver since his rookie year, but he is an excellent blocker. He's right up there with Hines Ward when it comes to blocking from the WR position.

Colts at Browns reminds me of the 1987 season when Eric Dickerson played three times at Cleveland.
He played at Cleveland as a member of the Rams in the first half of the season. Then he got traded to Indianapolis on Halloween and played at Cleveland in the second half of the season. Then the Colts played at Cleveland in the postseason.

Colts squeeze out another close win against a pretty bad team. Too bad.

    Panthers-Packers game is good

Hopefully, those without D-TV will see the conclusion of that game. I feel bad for those who were stuck watching NYG-WAS. Washington can't play against the Giants .
I sure hope the Falcons beat out the Redskins for a Wild Card spot.

SF holding Buff at 10-3. What happened there? Buffalo was stopped in the Red Zone?
