What's the point of homefield advantage if these refs are gonna call the games the same way they would on the road team's stadium? How could they rob us of the opportunity to win the game? Chances are good the Jets probably would've lost the game anyway Josh McCown is our starting QB at least give us that chance!!! How could they decide the game like that? They turned what should've been a exciting finish to a good game into a controversial, boring, anti-climactic ending. This league just doesn't get it. That was no 'rough', it was a ridiculous call and the official waited a good 3 seconds before he threw the flag. More evidence of Goodell's pussy football league...then again, this is the by-product of a system of 'safer' football that so many of you signed up for...not that I ever did.
The refs blew enough huge plays in this game, but that wasn't one of them. That was completely on Pennel.
After watching the replay it looked to me like Pennell was staring down the ref after the play he didn't like it so he said screw this guy and his team. Ended the game right there. The real penalty was Pennell staring down the ref.
