It's going to be a fun matchup with our corners vs your receivers. Gilmore/Darby have been very good this year......they've clamped down on some very good receivers. We've been torched by backs that can catch out of the backfield tho.
Kind of excited about this game. It should be fun. I'd love to see the Jets blow them out. That's probably unlikely though. If Jets win it will probably be another tough close game. DLine is going to have to play smart or Taylor might kill them scrambling. Hopefully Watkins doesn't get matched up with Cromartie often BTW, Bills fans posting on here, how has Robert Woods been for you guys? Did you look at deeper at those Houston stats? 12 games - 197/312 2483 yds 17td 8int 2 games against the Titans he combined for: 43/68 585 yds 7td 0int 10 games against the rest of the NFL: 154/244 1898yds 10td 8int Thats his best year? Avg 189 yds per game and 1 td when playing anybody else but the 2nd worst team in the NFL?
I'd be all for watching this game but, watching guys in red and green pajamas run around just doesn't make me happy at all.
I think he's a good #2/#3 WR......he's def flashed at times. I dont think he has the elite speed/shiftness to beat elite corners off the line tho.
Of course I looked at the numbers. Did you? Did you notice any pattern? The games where he didn't play great are when he got his head killed. Look at the games where he threw those picks.. 2 3 5 5 4 sacks. The guy got destroyed in those games. When given time the guy is MORE THAN SERVICEABLE. I'm not saying the guy is Dan fucking Marino. Dont get me wrong guys I actually like Fitz.........I think he's the perfect backup QB. I just wouldn't want him to be my full time starter.......he has too many limitations and they always creep up at the wrong time or when you need him most.
Please dispute that other then the 2 Titans game that accounted for 41% of his touchdown passes he was playing average football and not having such a great season. Relying on Fitzpatrick is the same as us relying on Kyle Orton last season. Eventually QBs like that show you why they cant stick with a team for too long........sooner or later their limitations show up at the wrong times.

Do you know how to read? I never said he was having a great season in comparison to other QbS. I said he was having his best season of his career and you can't argue that. You play what's infront of you and that season was going to be his best of his career. So according to your logic Andrew luck is only average because only shreds the Texans Titans and Jaguars? Also.. I'll agree with this statement. The difference is our weapons are better than what you had last year and that's why jets fans are confident in Fitzpatrick.
Yeah I think Tyrod is the X factor in this game. He just completed 92 percent of passes last week. Rex will focus on stopping Ivory and if this game comes down to Taylor vs Fitz, i think we could be in trouble.
Too bad I will be at the game Thursday night and witness this color mess live without the chance of changing the channel.
