I've mentioned this in another thread, but I think that the lack of speed on our LB corps has put a LOT of pressure on the DL to do more than they are supposed to do. In a 3-4 they are supposed to be creating opportunities for the LBs, but if the LBs can't hold up their end of the bargain then you got nothing. At least that's my take on it. I do still find myself wondering why the DL can't at least collapse the pocket and flush the passer more. But then again I've missed a lot of the games, so I am going on a smaller example set than most.

Once upon a time I was telling a friend of mine he needed to be more confident with the ladies. He got all huffy and said, "it isn't that I lack confidence, I just know I'll never meet anyone." I think that is the dating version of what being a Jets fan is like...... and I'm raising my children to be Jets fan. I can already hear the knock from Children's Protective Services. What parent would do this to their child? We are sick, sick people.
This might be whistling past the graveyard, but I think the Jets have showed me something in the last 5-7 minutes of play. Looks like they have finally woken up. Lots of time left. Punch this guy in and blow them off the ball in the fourth.
