The 33.5 million the Packers are paying Rodgers is the reason they don’t have someone like Bridgewater backing him up. Matter of fact, that whole team is built around 1 player. If Rodgers is out, the Packers season is over. With or without Sam, the Jets are not title contenders this season.
You misunderstood my point. I'm not saying we should have kept Bridgewater as insurance for Darnold. I'm saying that we should have kept Bridgewater because a contending team was going to lose its QB and at that point Bridgewater would have fetched more in a trade. There was a big debate about it on here two weeks ago.
Mack’s impact right now, after all the debate on how much is too much to get him, is unreal. You can’t make this up
To be fair, that (center? LG?) whiffed clean, and I have NFI why Kizer threw that, other than he's Kizer and he blows. But what a debut for Mack. It's like he heard us debating if it was an overpay and said "fuck all y'all, watch this".
We didn't get him, but it could be worse. Raiders fans are collectively puking and crying simultaneously.
