I'm taking this one game at a time. But of course I'd be happy if we go 2-0.

The Patriots and Bucs are more talented but this is the NFL, you don't have to be better to win. You just have to catch some breaks and have more points after 60 minutes.

I now believe we will have more points than both the Bucs and Patriots after 60 minutes each game.

Not saying the Jets beat guys all check message boards like this, but these types of threads are part of the reason the media kicks the Jets fanbase when they are down.

Let's just get through week 1 before making bold proclamations

I don't represent the whole Jets fanbase, I represent myself. This topic was made by me, not the Jets fanbase. If i'm wrong about it, then I am wrong. I'll take the brunt for being wrong. What I or anyone on this messageboard says is not representative of the Jets fanbase as a whole.

So we should start more Sanchez Sucks/Rex Must Go/Idzik is a Clown/The Season is Over threads? Shut it. This is a Jets forum. It is for fans. Fans support their team no matter what.

It's hypocrital to bash this thread and then say its OK for a douche like Peter King to predict a 3-13 season. It's the same fucking thing. And no, I'm not calling you a hypocrite - Just trying to explain that there is nothing wrong with this thread.

    Go Jets!

Our LBs look slow and clueless in preseason and so did our rookie Corner while others like Wilson still doesnt turn his head and create stupid penalties. Add that with a rookie QB who not only shit the bed but urinated all over the filed too.

If we somehow beat the Bucs, how on earth are we going to stop NE with their hurry up offense and ok defense? Brady will target Millliner all day and our LBs....again. And then you have Geno who based on this game Sunday, will have 3 days to get prepared and shake off w/e for the Patriots.

I just dont see a 2-0 RIGHT NOW.

I really wish that were the case, but I have my doubts.

Kyle Wilson will be playing against the Pats....Kyle fucking Wilson.

How can anyone make any predictions of beating anyone when we are starting a rookie with no history in the NFL at all? You can make a prediction if you're going out there with a three year veteran and his play is relatively predictable, compare that to your opponents and make an educated guess as to why you'll win.

But as of now we can lose 52-0 to the Bucs or win 10-7, I have no clue at all what Geno is going to do.

It will be tough but not impossible.

Here is a novel idea. Keep the ball out of Brady's hands by controlling the time of possession, gassing the NE Defense till they can not stand up anymore. Run, screens, reverses, whatever it takes...this aint Sparano calling the shots, rookie QB or not.

Also get the D to push the living shit out of the NE OL and get Brady to scramble for his life.

And this is a problem because? The Patriots have no depth at WR - all they have is Amendola technically. He's not Wes Welker. None of the other guys besides Gronk are proven.

They can play a guy off the street and Wilson will draw a PI, hold, or get burnt for a easy TD.

Wilson is a enigma. I'm ready to pronounce him as a 1st round bust very soon.
